Hip hop group N Dubz, boxer Joe Calzaghe and Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes are joining forces to help stamp out cyber bullying.
Research commissioned by charity Beatbullying shows that one in three youngsters have been bullied via text messages, abusive posts on social networking sites and phone calls.
The poll – which quizzed more than 2,000 11 to 18-year-olds – also found that girls are up to four times more likely to become victims of cyberbullying than boys. N-Dubz singer and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has been subjected to cyber bullying on her MySpace page.
A cyber mentoring scheme is now being launched where teenagers can help young victims.
Some quotes from youngsters with their views on cyber bullying can be found on the BBC's 1Xtra website.
