8 August deadline for Govt Cyber Apprenticeships

Due to the major shortage of cyber skills in the UK, the Government has committed to recruiting apprentices to fill this skills gap.

The Civil Service Cyber Apprenticeship scheme is supporting the Government’s goal of creating 3 million apprentices in England by 2020. The recruitment campaign for this scheme is currently live and the application process closes on 8th August.

Following the recruitment exercise, the Civil Service expects to have a number of quality apprentices for start in September/October this year, who will then be placed in different Government departments in various locations in the UK.
