Be on your guard for emails, Facebook posts, tweets and the like promising "exclusive first pictures", "video from inside Kate's delivery room" or "royal baby named".
As is the case when any event of national or global significance occurs, cybercriminals are highly likely to exploit our curiosity to cloak their nasty scams.
The result could be that you download some malware designed to capture your personal or financial details, spy on you or make your computer part of a botnet. Alternatively, the message may ask you to click on a link to a hoax website, where you're asked to enter your personal details in order to "be the first" to get the pics or video in question.
The first photos of the little chap will be out soon enough, so keep your eyes peeled on your regular news channel or website, and don't get fooled into downloading something you (and your computer) may regret.
