Seen the ad circulating on some social media sites that Apple's new iOS 7 software makes your iPhone or iPad waterproof?
The ad is about Apple devices and software, and it even looks like an Apple ad. It claims that the upgrade "prevents any damage to your iPhone's delicate circuitry".
But … a software upgrade rendering an item of hardware impervious to water?
Pleeeease!
Apparently, however, some users have immersed their beloved phones and tablets in water to test the claim. And guess what … they got water inside them.
If you want to immerse your Apple device in the bath or take it paddling, choose a waterproof case from the many examples available on the market.
Now … where's that flying pig?
